Want to know about water quality issues? Have an assignment due but do not have the information at hand? You need to do some research on a really important environmental issue?

If you answer yes to any of these questions then the Launceston Environment Centre (LEC) library may be able to help!

About the LEC Library Resources:

The LEC library is a specialised environmental catalogue holding approximately 3000 titles in all. Many of the titles we hold at the LEC are unique and not available anywhere else in Tasmania, making our collection an important source of information to our local community.

The library is presently reference only but there are a number of work stations and photocopying facilities available - (please note, photocopying is 15c per copy).

We have currently meticulously placed our entire library catalogue onto a securely new electronic data base, via a Google Spreadsheet, allowing everyone access to our detailed library.

How to access the LEC library catalogue online:
Many volunter hours have gone into setting up our library for online viewing, we hope you enjoy the benefits. If you have any suggestions or would like to add to our catalogue library, please contact us with your details.

Just follow this link to be taken to the LEC library Bookmark Catalogue.

[Please note: Our online library runs seperate to our website and therefore you will be leaving the LEC website when moving across to the LEC library.]
